"I’m Ready for School"…We will supply with book bags full of school supplies to start the school year off right. (grade appropriate)
"Fine Art Scholarships"… We will offer two (2) Five hundred dollars scholarships to those students who are continuing their education in an area of fine arts. This program is currently offered to all Apache county graduating high school students. (student must meet all criteria)
“Learning is Fun’’…Any qualifying student can request help to participate in any school sponsored program or event. The following apply but are not limited to: Clothing, equipment, fees, and expenses needed for away activities.
"Veterans Memorial"…The foundation is dedicated to raising funds to construct a veterans memorial for all St Johns veterans. The memorial will host a replica of Cpl. Joe McCarthy (USMC) handing Iraqi children candy. We believe this image represent our American fighting military forces at their best. The statue will hold those names of our towns fallen soldiers who gave their lives for others while serving.
"Veterans Grave flag replacements"…The American Legion replaces Flags once a year, we will replace any missing or tattered flags as they are needed.
“Greetings From Home”…The foundation will collect letters and home baked goodies and send them off to our fighting soldiers every Christmas. This is to remind our soldiers that we are still thinking of them and thank them for their service.
“Stockings for “Joey’s Toys for Kids” program”…The foundation will supplies Christmas stockings full of candy and little toys to wish Merry Christmas to our towns kids. We will help to supply any needs outside of the programs abilities, such as food and clothing.
