Veterans Memorial

The Apache County Veterans Memorial is currently in the design process and will include memorial gardens, benches, a central statue along with a special case displaying the military dog tags purchased by veterans or their families in honor of their service to our country.

The Apache County Memorial will be located in the City of St Johns, Arizona on land donated by Apache County within it's new renovated block where the Northern Pioneer campus and the new library are located on Main Street.

Local Business man Chuck Humphrey’s, owner of Cedar Creek Stone has pledged to donate all the stone materials necessary to complete the Memorial including 5 stone benches.

The Apache County Veterans Memorial will be dedicated to the service of ALL veterans. If you have a veteran in your life that you would like to honor, you may do so by purchasing one of our black military dog tag engraved so their information will shine when visitors look into our display case. If your veteran was killed in action from Apache County, please contact The Cpl Joe McCarthy Foundation at 928-337-3440 so that we can include his or her name at no cost to the families.

Dog Tags can be purchased for $20 and can include 3 lines of information.

Rose bushes can be purchased for $25 and will include a memorial plate with the person/ business name on it.

Stone benches can be purchased for $2,000 and can include the any persons/businesses name.

Engraved boulders at each entry can be purchased for $100.
